Learning through suffering
Not a bad thing. We all suffer at some point. Be it grief, loss, irritation or it simply doesn’t go our way. It’s part of our lives, and it’s not necessarily a bad thing.
Attachment. As Buddha said, “The root of all suffering is attachment." We get attached to pets, people, things and there’s no way out of it. Everything is impermanent, and just this thought could make you suffer on some level.
Accept it. Most people keep trying to avoid it, focusing on good and happy things. However, that’s not the best way to learn from it. We, humans, learn things by “going through” process. Go through suffering.
Growing through it. Growing is seeking new experiences. You shouldn’t seek suffering, but the learnings you may get from it. There are many things out there we don’t see, we don’t know. Now is the time to pave the path to them.
